Hypericum dummeri Peter Dummer

St. John's wort Peter Dummer is a semi-evergreen shrub that grows to about 50-60 cm in height, with a spreading, dense, upright shoot system. Its shoots are slender and graceful, and its leaves are dark green, broad and oval. It blooms with bright yellow flowers in the second half of summer and often keeps flowering until October. Its fruits are oval, glossy and red, and in summer they can be seen on the plant together with the flowers, decorating it twice over. It prefers a partially sunny, semi-shaded spot and well-structured soil. Its water needs are moderate. An excellent ground cover.
